The line that matters most is "plain aged paper labels with no lettering on them". Ask for labelled jars and every single one comes back covered in invented letters — that is the model doing what it was built to do, and it ruins the frame at full size. Blank labels read as authentic and cost nothing.
Dust in the shaft of light is the second thing that sells it. Without it the shelf looks like a prop in a shop window.
What still breaks: jar contents repeat. Ask for five different jars and you get the same dried bundle five times in slightly different colours. Naming three specific contents helps but does not fully fix it. And the mortar sometimes fuses with the shelf edge — a regeneration is quicker than a fix.
