Werewolf mid-transformation portrait from your selfie

Turns a selfie into a half-changed werewolf under a full moon: fur creeping up the jaw, amber eyes, torn shirt — with your face still yours.

The prompt

Upload a photo of yourself and paste this:

Turn the uploaded photo into a portrait of a person caught halfway through a werewolf change, standing in a pine forest under a full moon. Keep my face recognisable: same bone structure, same eye shape and colour, same nose and mouth, same skin tone. Costume, light and background change — the person does not.

The change is partial and readable: coarse dark fur creeping up the jawline and the backs of the hands, eyes turned [EYE COLOUR: amber] with a faint inner glow, teeth normal apart from two longer canines showing in a closed mouth. Clothing: [CLOTHES: a torn grey work shirt, collar ripped open]. Posture half turned away, head coming back towards the camera.

Light: cold moonlight from behind and above, a rim of it along the shoulder and hair, blue shadow filling the rest, a thin ground mist between the trunks. Shot as a photograph, 85mm, f/2, sharp on the near eye, forest melting into bokeh.

Do not smooth the skin: keep pores, stubble and any marks the original photo has.

Why a prompt and not a one-click filter: the free Halloween filters run in someone else's cloud, you hand them your face, and you get whatever preset they built. This text runs wherever you want — in Gemini, in ChatGPT, or on your own graphics card with nothing leaving the machine — and every line of it is yours to change.

What you get

Ran on eight different source photos.

What comes back is usually right on the third try, and the two failures are always the same. Either the model goes too far and returns a full wolf head — nothing of the person left, and no amount of asking for "partial" fixes it once it has decided; start a fresh chat instead of arguing. Or it smooths the face into a wax model while adding the fur, which is why the last line of the prompt exists.

The fur along the jaw is the part that sells it. Ask for it on the jawline and the backs of the hands specifically — say only "fur" and it lands on the cheeks, which reads as a costume mask.

What still breaks: hands. If your source photo has them in frame, expect claws on a human palm with the wrong number of fingers. Crop to head and shoulders and the problem disappears.
